Hey hey,

Name's Rafael de Jesus, born in Switzerland on a very cold morning of January 1998. I then moved to Portugal at the age of 4, lived at the north, and now the south.

​

Since a very young age I've been into arts, my parents tell me that when I was about 3, we went to the arcades and I would always spend my time on these "gaming" machines that were basically drawing tablets.

My parents had it super easy with me, "Oh you're about to throw a tantrum? Here's "The Iron Giant" for the 583664º time"

Done, crisis adverted!

So, I kept drawing and watching cartoons all the way to high school, this was when I got confronted with the scary thought of "what am I going to pursue after this?..."

At this point, I had no idea I could actually make a living out of creating cartoons.

Fortunately, I made my research in time, and managed to get accepted to University of Algarve - UALG to study animation.

And so I went, and got my animation degree. The greatest experience of my life was to discover and develop even further my love for this art, not only animation but the art of cinema, I love movies!

Now, even though I finished my studies, I'm still learning every day, taking courses, reading books, watching YouTube videos, talking with others artist I love.
